London's pizza scene really exploded in 2025 and 2026 looks like it's off to a similarly strong start with Connie's Pizza. It comes from Andrea Asciuti, the founder of 081 Pizza, based in Peckham and Shoreditch, which has made it onto the Top 50 Pizzas in Europe list. 

Connie's (named after Andrea's wife) will be a little different from 081. As Andrea explains, it's offering up the "UK’s first Bri-talian pizza". That means it will be a London-style crispy pizza, albeit made by Italians. The ingredients will also be very different from your standard pizzeria, too,

A South London brewery that started life in a shed is now working on opening its third tap room. Br3wery, who already have two taprooms in Beckenham, are spreading their wings across to Furzedown.

"We’re excited to announce the opening of our third taproom in Furzedown," they told Hot Dinners. "For the first time, we’re stepping outside the BR3 area to bring our fresh beers to a new neighbourhood.

We're only on day two of 2026 and we're already bringing you news of another new pizzeria gearing up to open in London. Weezie's has taken over the old Biscuiteers site in Eccleston Yards, just around the corner from Victoria Station. The people behind it, Will and Abbie Sandbach, already run the Amie Wine Studio which is right next door in the Belgravia development. They've teamed up with the people behind East London's Proud Mary olive oil to launch Proud Mary Pizzeria. A new pizza restaurant is coming to King's Cross with the arrival of the latest Pizza Pilgrims. They're taking over a former hair salon that's on the corner of Caledonian Road and Pentonville Road (and just a few doors down from another popular King's Cross pizzeria, Pizza Union). One of London's big openings for the autumn is the arrival of Crisp Pizza in Mayfair, where they've taken over The Marlborough Head pub on North Audley Street, renaming it The Marlborough.

Slayer is a pizza-by-the-slice operation that's being opened up by the same team behind the area's popular brunch spot, Eggbreak.
