Brad Carter is creating a special dinner at Ministry of Sound on 9-10 September

2 September (King's Cross) - Hoppers is bringing back its Dosa Deep House terrace sessions, pairing sunset DJ sets from emerging South Asian artists with dosas, Sri Lankan curries and signature cocktails. The evenings coincide with the return of Hoppers' limited-edition Kalupol Chicken Bun, with £2 from every sale donated to Feeding the Future.

3-6 September (Wapping) - Meatopia returns to Tobacco Dock with four days of live-fire cooking from leading chefs, including Budgie Montoya, Ana Goncalves and Zijun Meng, Brad Carter, Adriana Cavita, Harneet Baweja and many more, with every dish created exclusively for the festival. 

9-10 September (Elephant & Castle) - Ministry of Sound is marking its 35th anniversary with Last Orders, a two-night dining experience pairing a five-course menu by chef Brad Carter with a live soundtrack from DJ Ralph Lawson celebrating three decades of house music.

11-13 September (Battersea) - London’s largest South East Asian festival, celebrASIA, returns to Battersea Power Station for its third year, with more than 40 street food traders, including Eat Lah, Old Chang Kee and Ro Vietnamese, plus collaborations such as MamaPen x From the Ashes BBQ and Mandy Yin x Chick ’n’ Sours. The festival will also feature live music and dance, national dress parades, comedy, cooking classes, panel talks and a new film festival showcasing South East Asian cinema.

12 September (Islington) - Godet is teaming up with Ling Ling’s and Two Flints brewery for a one-off summer BBQ, with a bún chả-inspired menu of barbecued pork, chicken or aubergine served with rice noodles, pickles and fermented pineapple hot sauce. Tickets are £35 and include a bowl and two pints of Two Flints beer, with sittings at 1pm and 3pm.

18 September (Mayfair) - Bentley's Oyster Bar & Grill hosts the London Oyster Championships, with the country's top shuckers competing in a speed-shucking contest before chefs battle it out in the Best Dressed Oyster competition. Tickets are £55, or £95 for VIP including an oyster masterclass.

18-19 September (Whitehall) - Saison by Mauro Colagreco is teaming up with New York favourite Raf's for a two-day residency during London Fashion Week. Expect a collaborative menu combining Raf's Parisian-Italian style with Saison's seasonal cooking, including tuna crudo, lobster Bolognese, chicken cordon bleu, apple tart and more.

19 September (Stratford) - The London Taco Experience returns to Riverside East for a one-day celebration of Mexican street food, with taco traders including MexClub, Nopalito, Awebo!, Polanco, Los Gordos, Tacos MX Official and Carne. Expect birria, al pastor, Baja-style seafood and vegetarian tacos alongside margaritas, tequila, mezcal, hot sauce tastings, DJs and a live Mariachi Band.

19-20 September (Covent Garden) - Kewpie is bringing its KEWPIE IT pop-up to Covent Garden Piazza for a weekend celebrating the Japanese Tamago Sando. Expect an immersive convenience store-inspired experience, tastings, photo opportunities, giveaways and a limited-edition "Mayozine".

20 September (Whitehall) - Kioku by Endo is welcoming HIDE chef director Josh Angus for a one-night collaboration, combining seasonal British produce with traditional Japanese techniques. Expect dishes including lobster katafi dumplings, Chalk Stream trout, A5 Wagyu and Chilean seabass. Tickets are £175, or £195 for the Chef's Table.

23 September (Kentish Town) - The Parakeet is teaming up with Cafe Kowloon for a one-night-only seven-course dinner, with Ben Allen and Budgie Montoya combining fire-led cooking with bold Cantonese flavours. Expect oysters, prawn toast with crispy cockles, grilled sea bream and French toast with preserved stone fruit and Szechuan honey ice cream. Tickets are £90pp, with proceeds supporting local foodbanks.

24 September (Camberwell) - The Camberwell Arms is bringing in Ryan Chetiyawardana and the Lyaness team for the second instalment of its Allocation series. Expect a welcome cocktail, generous snacks including pork saltimbocca and devilled mussels for £15. There will also be more signature cocktails from both teams for £10.

25 & 26 September (Hackney Wick) - Rogue Sarnies is teaming up with Hon’s BBQ for two nights of food and music, with smoked ox cheek or pork belly sandwiches, chilli salt corn ribs and honey and black pepper-glazed smashed new potatoes. Friday is a ticketed evening featuring a vinyl DJ set from Hon, Tim Reaper and Deft, while Saturday is walk-in until sold out.

26 September (Oxford Street) - alto by San Carlo is teaming up with Ibiza's Cotton Beach Club for two rooftop parties at Selfridges, combining Mediterranean-inspired dishes, Champagne and rosé, live DJs, saxophonists and percussionists to recreate the feel of a Balearic sunset session in London.

26 September (Broadgate) - Bar Kroketa is bringing a Basque bar crawl to Broadgate Circle for one day, with pintxos, croquetas, gildas, txakoli, natural cider, Basque wines and beer. There'll also be live Basque music, pop-up bar stops and a competition to crown the Pintxo-Pote People’s Champion. Entry is free and includes a welcome glass of cider.

27 September (Soho) - Aulis London is bringiong back its 20/20/20 charity dinner, bringing together 20 chefs to serve 20 courses, with all proceeds going to Hospitality Action. The all-star line-up includes Alex Bond, Emily Roux, Endo Kazutoshi, James Knappett, Sabrina Ghayour and more. Raffle tickets cost £20, with drinks included.

29 September (Spitalfields) - Galvin Bistrot & Bar hosts a one-night "chef exchange" between Arturo Granato and Judy Joo, combining Mediterranean and Korean cooking. Expect dishes including Korean steak tartare, kalbi short ribs and cacio e pepe tortelli. Tickets are £75pp including a glass of Vouvray Brut.

And outside of London:

4 & 5 September (West Mersea) - Greyhound Pettistree returns to a private tidal island off West Mersea for two seafood lunches in a historic oyster packing shed. Chef Adam Spicer will cook local fish and shellfish over fire, with guests arriving by boat and dining beside the Blackwater Estuary. Tickets are £175, plus a £25 fee for the Packing Shed Trust.
