Around this time last year, Noodle Inn opened in Soho and was an instant sensation. It immediately became the restaurant with some of the longest queues in Soho and has remained hugely popular to this day. Well, now they're about to open a second restaurant.

It's been three long years since we first reported on the fight for survival of one of London's oldest restaurants. Now there's good (and bad) news. City of London diners have plenty of choice on their doorstep, so it's interesting to see how some restaurants manage to stand out from the crowd. We visit Straits Kitchen at the Pan Pacific London which does just that.

Featuring the lunar cycle as its theme, this high rise omakase restaurant turns out to be a lot of fun for the dinner guests.

You'll see Rick Stein restaurants all over Padstow, but at the moment his only London outpost is in Barnes (a notably great restaurant for riverside dining).
