  • Anya Hindmarch’s Ice Cream Project is back with Oxo, Lurpak and Yorkshire pudding among the flavours

Now in its fifth year, fashion designer Anya Hindmarch’s Ice Cream Project is already raising eyebrows with flavour combinations that are strangely familiar (thanks to the theme of leaning on common larder/household items) yet a little perplexing when delivered in an ice-cream scoop or a 500ml takeaway tub. Indeed, ‘unexpectedly delicious’ is the tagline, but we don’t think anyone saw the likes of Euthymol Original Toothpaste coming!

Once again, the Anya Cafe will be the place to be (hot tip: book now – minimum of two people, £50 per person) for the Ice Cream Project Blind Tasting

  • Avi is a new French/American bistro from the Prince Arthur team, and they've brought the caviar

The team behind The Prince Arthur Belgravia, as well as Arthur's Market in Chelsea, are getting ready to open their next restaurant. This time around, they're going back to Belgravia and are teaming up with boutique hotel The Lowndes Hotel to launch Avi Bistrot.

This will be a French/American brasserie, with a fair bit of showing from the caviar that was liberally used over at the Prince Arthur. At Avi, you'll find it on dishes like their New York fried chicken & caviar as well as caviar fish and chips. Elsewhere on the menu, you'll find the LA brioche noire lobster roll,

  • The Duke of Connaught in Belgravia is Cubitt House's next gastropub

They already have two other Belgravia pubs, but gastropub group Cubitt House clearly love the area as they're already making plans for a third. Next up to get the group's attention is the old post office on Eccleston Street.

Plans are already afoot to turn the former post office into The Duke of Connaught pub and hotel. The name is a reference to the building's use during the early part of the 20th century, when it was The Duke of Connaught’s Soldiers & Sailors Home with bedrooms, a bar and a billiard room.

If permission is granted, the new pub will feature a bar on

  • Belgravia gets in on the thin crust pizza game with Weezie's

We're only early in 2026 and we're already bringing you news of another new pizzeria gearing up to open in London. Weezie's has taken over the old Biscuiteers site in Eccleston Yards, just around the corner from Victoria Station. The people behind it, Will and Abbie Sandbach, run the Amie Wine Studio, which is right next door in the Belgravia development. They're describing Weezie's, which is named after Abbie's grandmother, as a pizza-focused restaurant and wine bar.

On the menu will be a range of thin-crust pizzas in the London/New Haven-style, along with various small plates.

Wild Honey's Anthony Demetre leads the menu at The Elizabeth in Belgravia, taking over from Ganymede

What was Ganymede in Belgravia is being reborn, transforming it into The Elizabeth, with a little hand from Anthony Demetre.

The chef, whose restaurant Wild Honey currently holds a Michelin star, is creating a new menu for the relaunch, with a look towards his signature "bistronomy" roots. On the menu, that translates into dishes

Soleil by Claude is Bosi's new Mediterranean summer pop-up at Brooklands

One of the biggest draws of Claude Bosi's two-Michelin-starred Brooklands is the fantastic terrace, one of the best rooftop dining spaces in London. However, the stunning terrace perhaps isn't the ideal space for a fine-dining Michelin-level experience, and now it's getting something of a summer overhaul.

Taking over this space for the whole of Summer is a new pop-up

    A Hot Dinners exclusive

If there's one thing that 2024 has taught us, it's that the London pub scene is very much still alive and kicking. We started the year strong with crowds thronging the newly opened Devonshire and since then we've had a slew of places serving up interesting offerings in the city's old boozers from new Irish pubs to more wine-led offerings. Now as one year ends and another looms, we have
