What was Ganymede in Belgravia is being reborn, transforming it into The Elizabeth, with a little hand from Anthony Demetre.
The chef, whose restaurant Wild Honey currently holds a Michelin star, is creating a new menu for the relaunch, with a look towards his signature "bistronomy" roots. On the menu, that translates into dishes like:
- Whipped cod’s roe, duck, pork and guinea‑fowl terrine
- Crisp pig’s head
- Fish cake with bouillabaisse sauce.
- Crisp slow-cooked duck ‘confit’, spinach, chickpeas and wild oregano
- Roast young chicken lacquered with lemon and honey
There will be a new drinks menu too, with an Axia Watermelon Spritz and a Porto Tonico on the list, along with a wine list created by Liberty Wines.
As for the space itself, we're not sure how much that will change from the Ganymede days. It's described as "three interlinked spaces and a 12-cover terrace", which does sound similar to before, but expect at least a light refurb throughout.
