Following the success of its East London Stratford restaurant, Japanese X Peruvian restaurant Bamboo Mat is opening a second larger site in a stunning new location at Canary Wharf’s Wood Wharf.
Featuring a raw bar and cocktail bar on the ground floor and robata, sushi and hot kitchen on the first floor, Bamboo Mat Nikkei restaurant is Canary Wharf’s latest dining addition opening officially on 2nd October 2026. Guests can expect premium sushi and twists on Japanese classics such as teriyaki, ceviche and tiradito matched with an Asian and Peruvian leaning cocktail list.
