Reemies Cakes are promising banana bundts and more for their Notting Hill opening

A year on from opening her first bakery on Fulham Road, cake baker Reem Abu Samra is doubling up with a brand new store in Notting Hill. Announcing it on Instagram this week Reem said: "The rumours are true… and we are thrilled to finally announce the opening of our SECOND store this Winter 2026! There was no other choice for our SECOND home - Notting Hill, you asked and we answered! We cannot wait to welcome you with as much love and passion as we have in Chelsea."

And the good news for fans is that she tells us there will be space in the new Ledbury Road site for a little bit of counter seating up at the front window, if you want to sit in and enjoy your cakes. 

Last year when we reported on the arrival of her first bakery, we noted that she'd built up a loyal and rather starry fanbase, including Idris Elba and Made in Chelsea's Millie Mackintosh. And the first person responding to the news of the Notting Hill opening was none other than AJ Tracey. So you might legitimately expect to be brushing shoulders with the stars when you head here for your sweet treat.

We're fully expecting the bakery's signature banana bundt cake to be on sale here, while other options might include the recently introduced banana dulce layer cake and Nutella banana dot cake (notice a theme here?).
