Having already succeeded in showing what a high end pub experience could look like, courtesy of Belgravia's The Prince Arthur, the same team are now turning their attentions to the London food hall. To that end, they've taken on the space that used to be Le Deli Robuchon on the King's Road where they're opening two restaurants and a deli under the same roof.
The first part of the equation is ASA, a Japanese handroll izakaya, which they say is "where the freshest seafood meets counter dining with character". It all sounds very much like Notting Hill's Fish + Meat Shop where sushi, particularly hand rolls, and top tier seafood are sold side by side.
Next up is Salvador, which is going to be a pintxo grill serving up "Mediterranean-inspired, wood-fired dishes". That's located right beside what's looks to be the most beautiful looking butcher counter in London. Alongside this will be a separate wine bar with walls lined with bespoke wine fridges. All of these areas will focus around counter dining.
The final section is Arthur's Market, a luxury supermarket and deli selling everything from caviar to ready-made dinners via the traiteur. So it all sounds very Chelsea.
That's all we know so far, but we're expecting a lot more detail in the coming weeks.
