The entire Spiteri family is ganging up to launch The Latimer pub

The Spiteri family have been making waves in hospitality for a while, and now they're about to launch a new pub.

Jon Spiteri is a legendary restaurateur and front-of-house man, with The French House, St. John,  Sessions Arts Club and many, many more behind him. Melanie Arnold is the co-founder of Rochelle Canteen. Lorcan and Fin Spiteri were behind the houseboat success of Caravel and their sister Molly is Business Development Lead at Koya.

That's a pretty impressive range of experience all wrapped up in one family and now they're bringing it all together for the first time with a family pub, The Latimer.

Key to the opening are Lorcan and Fin, carrying on the partnership that worked so well at Caravel. Lorcan is in charge of the kitchen and dishes planned include black pudding confit potato with homemade brown sauce, tagliolini with bisque and lemon and ox tail with mash and horseradish. There's also a bar snacks menu, which includes masala monkfish with tartare sauce and tempura oyster mushrooms with pickle

Fin, meanwhile, is in charge of the drinks, which alongside the beers will include wines from Uncharted. All in all, one to watch and if you live nearby, you're about to get a really great new local.
