  • NYC hotspot Coqodaq is coming to London

Having appeared in Gordon Ramsay's Knife's Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars show for Netflix, it looks like New York restaurant Coqodaq's next move is to head to London.

This morning they posted on Instagram to say they're going to be popping up at Gordon Ramsay's Lucky Cat in Mayfair for Wimbledon.

If you haven't had the joy of visiting the NYC restaurant, then let us give you an idea of what to expect. We went to the New York restaurant a few years back on our

  • Pearl will be The Beaumont's new restaurant taking over Mayfair's Brown Hart Gardens

For over a year now, there have been rumblings that Mayfair hotel, The Beaumont, was gearing up to open a second restaurant. That would add to their existing offering, Rosi, by the hotel's Culinary Director Lisa Goodwin-Allen.

Now we can reveal that plans for Pearl are fully underway, with the restaurant taking over the elevated section of Brown Hart Gardens in front of the hotel. On the food front, it might not surprise you to learn that the menu here is going to be Mediterranean-led, like so many new openings in London right now. But we have to say that the vision for the

  • Le Perroquet sees top American chef Daniel Rose taking on the French restaurant at St Regis London

What was once The Westbury has been closed for what seems like forever, undergoing a big redevelopment (they've even added an extra floor). And all of this work is about turning it into the St Regis London, a UK version of the luxury hotel group. We've been waiting to see what they would reveal as their restaurant and it turns out to be an interesting choice with a big name behind it, but maybe not one all that familiar to Londoners.

The new restaurant will be Le

  • Salone sees the Lita team take over the old Burberry Thomas's Cafe space

If you’re always on the hunt for a new Italian restaurant to try, there’s one coming to London that has a pretty good pedigree. We were big fans of Lita when it opened in Marylebone in 2024, and now the same hospitality group (Fortune Family) is opening a restaurant called Salone.

Menu details are a little scarce at this stage, but according to a release from The Crown Estate, seafood and meat are both key elements, and Luca Natalini is on board as executive chef; he's currently the

  • Celeb favourite Go Greek Yogurt is heading to London from LA

Potentially in time for the next London heatwave, there is some delicious news on the way for fans of icy, nutritious treats: Go Greek Yogurt is crossing the globe to open a site in Mayfair.

The brand already has fans worldwide, with outlets across the US, as well as the Middle East, so you may have already encountered its creations, spanning smoothies to fresh and frozen bowls with myriad toppings plus the occasional special-occasion collab (Greek yoghurt with Meredith Marks Diamond Ossetra Caviar, anyone?).

The company now has a mini empire of self-serve yoghurt bars and

  • Mardy's sees the man behind Lita opening a sandwich shop in Mayfair

The man behind the very successful Lita in Marylebone, Daniel Koukarskikh, is quietly getting ready for his next London opening, but this one is going to be a little different. Mardy's will be a sandwich shop opening in Mayfair.

Unfortunately, that's pretty much all we've been able to find out about it at this stage. According to job advertisements, they refer to themselves as "a proudly British brand, straightforward, unpretentious, and grumpy about quality." That's backed up with a cartoon campaign featuring their grumpy lead character.

    It's opening in

  • Dante Mayfair takes over as the new permanent Claridge's restaurant

Since the closure of Davies & Brook back in 2021 after Daniel Humm decided to go vegan, the restaurant at Claridge's has somewhat struggled to find an identity. However, last summer saw the launch of New York's Dante as a pop-up there which really started to get some of the space's mojo back. They must be very pleased with the collab as they've just announced that Dante will now be the permanent restaurant at Claridge's.

What this means is that the space that was Claridge's Restaurant has now closed. It will reopen in mid-June as Dante Mayfair with New York restaurateurs

  • Chopped chicken Caesar wraps are coming to London, courtesy of CZER. This is not a drill.

    Updated 10/5/26 with address

If you're as terminally online as we are, you might have recalled a TikTok earlier this year in which an American expat was bemoaning the lack of good chopped chicken Caesar wraps in London. That got a quarter of a million views, which in turn prompted hospitality folk Mairi and Marius of about-to-launch CZER to think maybe there's a business idea in that.

As Mairi explained to Hot Dinners, "We first started building the concept for CZER in January after I had a craving for one of these wraps so badly, but they just didn’t seem to

  • Row on 5 chef Spencer Metzger is opening Chez Rose in Mayfair, backed by Jason Atherton

Ever since Jason Atherton announced that Little Social was closing, we had been hearing murmurings behind the scenes that something was brewing with the site and his top chef, Spencer Metzger. Now it's been revealed, Atherton and Metzger are joining forces once more, this time for Chez Rose.

Of course, their first team-up, Row on 5, has already earned two Michelin stars, and although this restaurant will again be led by Metzger, it will be a

  • Mykonos restaurant Nammos sets sail for London for a more urban take

3/5/26 - updated with the opening date

A few years back, we reported on the impending arrival of Mykonos restaurant Nammos, which was supposed to be heading to Knightsbridge. Now it turns out that those plans have changed and the restaurant is instead coming to Mayfair.

They'll be taking over from Il Borro on Berkeley Street and are planning something subtly different to their Mykonos

  • High-end modern Indian restaurant Trèsind reveals its London opening plans

1/5/26 - Updated with full details about the opening.

A modern Indian restaurant that started life in Dubai (before opening in Mumbai too) is coming to London.

Trèsind describes itself as a "modernist Indian dining experience", so it's a high-end affair. The Dubai menu features dishes like scarlet prawns crudo and A5 wagyu striploin pathar kebab. However, it seems that they're doing something a little different in London.

In Mayfair, it will be a tasting-menu-only affair. Overall, the menu is led by Tresind's Chef Himanshu Saini, while the kitchen in

  • Louis Vuitton have opened a pop-up hotel, cafe and bar in Mayfair

We love a clever brand activation here at Hot Dinners, and the folks at fashion house Louis Vuitton have been busy over the past few weeks creating a very special pop-up for Londoners. The Louis Vuitton hotel is opening for business today on Berkeley Square and will be open to visitors for the next two months.

The couturier has used the 130th birthday of the brand's iconic monogram this year as a reason to go big with celebrations. To that end, they've taken over a whole house in Mayfair that used to be home to the private members' club Morton's.

  • The Wolseley Group are opening a hotel (and restaurant) in Mayfair

It's been a while since The Wolseley Group's last opening, which was The Wolseley City back in 2023. But now they're getting ready to open their first London hotel, and it's going to be part of their brand new Colbert Collection.

Called The WestDill Mayfair, the hotel is opening on Piccadilly, in a space that's almost directly opposite The Wolseley (and is somewhere that Jeremy King was once rumoured to be taking over a few years ago). It's
