Although most of the current buzz around everyone's favourite Indian cafe, Dishoom, has recently been around their expansion to New York, they're also extending their London estate. Work is well underway for a new Dishoom at London Bridge, just around the corner from Borough Market.
The restaurant group are opening a restaurant at The Hop Exchange. They're not taking over an existing restaurant space, but creating a brand new one in the building's West Wing. It would be a pretty big Dishoom too, covering two floors and expanding out towards the back of the Hop Exchange with a dining 'verandah' similar to what they have in Shoreditch.
This will be the eighth Dishoom in London and it doesn't look like they're slowing down as they also have plans for an opening on the South Bank.
