Peckham folk really do have one of London's best rooftop scenes. They already have their pick of ForzaWine, The Bussey Building and Frank's. And later this summer there's going to be another big rooftop place hitting the area - Skylight Peckham.

If the alto rooftop restaurant at Selfridges wasn't already enough of a draw in this summer months, its latest design iteration should make it practically impossible to get a table there anytime soon.

For the summer, it's been taken over by Dior and given a summery makeover by the fashion house. So the roof has been draped with Dior's toile de Jouy, with new summer seating, parasols and deckchairs.

As London gets ready to open up again, alfresco is one of the words of the moment. So news of a new rooftop bar in St Paul's should be of interest. 

Sabine is actually taking the space from The Sky Bar (at the top of the Leonardo hotel in the City). As you can see from the pic above, it's having quite the makeover, with a big emphasis on greenery

Before lockdown D&D's City restaurant 14 Hills was doing a storming business. Now, with the announcement of a new rooftop terrace, they're hoping to reopen with a similarly strong following.

The 14th-floor restaurant has moved up a level, taking over space in the building's 15th-floor rooftop garden. It'll have quite the view over London and room for around 50 diners.

They're bringing in My Million Pound Menu winners BBQ Dreamz for their rooftop space this summer. The newly titled Filipino concept, Bong Bong’s Manila Kanteen will serve up all manner of treats. Those who are fans of South Kensington’s The Ampersand will want to make a note of this one - the City's newest hotel Vintry & Mercer boasts multiple places to eat and drink, including a rooftop restaurant where you can enjoy the view along with your charcoal-grilled meal.
