Pop-up
- Roulote is a new pop-up sandwich bar from Bar Douro
Restaurants won't be open to customers until April (outside at least) so we're starting to see some more interesting ways that they've devised to reopen before then (particularly now that we're allowed to sit and eat in the park).
Roulote is Bar Douro's way of slowly getting back to business. It's a sandwich pop up, named after Portuguese street food trailers, that's being run from the
... - The Joanna's burger pop-up is returning
We may still be a little way off from actually eating in (or outside) restaurants again, but they are still finding new ways to give us a small taste of the real thing. One of those is the burger pop-up outside Joanna's in Crystal Palace. A big success on its last appearance, it's making a return this weekend.
There are three burgers up for grabs:
- The Joanna’s Hamburger - beef,
- Panzer's are having a pop-up sushi hand roll stall this weekend
If you're stretching your legs in Regent's Park this weekend why not treat yourself, after your state prescribed exercise, and head north of the park to St John's Wood deli Panzer's.
Why? Well, because all weekend their in-store sushi bar, which is run by the modern sushi restaurant Sushi Atelier, is going to be serving up hand rolls from a pop-up stall.
The Hand Roll Bar will be outside the front of the store with a

Been caught out by the last delivery dates before Christmas? With most of the big wine retailers now no longer able to deliver wine before the holidays, you'll have to be a little more cunning when it comes to getting in supplies.

Throughout December there's now an additional reason to head out to Hackney Wick. Perenially popular restaurant Moro has just started a pop up in Autumn Yard. Before the main restaurant returned after the lockdown, Flor's head chef Pamela Yung tried something new, ASAP pizza, their own take on a pizzeria with a heavy focus on quality produce and heritage British wheats. It was, as you'd imagine, rather successful - so much so that it's coming back every Sunday.
It'll be the first time that Flor opens on a Sunday and the whole menu will be an
