We've been big fans of Happy Endings' ice cream sandwiches for a while now. They've cornered the market in delivering London's very best ice cream sandwiches and there's a good chance you'll have come across them on some restaurant menus, or at shops like Nourished Communities.
But now - and for three months - you can find them in Shoreditch. They're taking over the hatch at Goddard and Gibbs and will be selling their ice cream to anyone passing by. And not only will it be about the sandwiches but they'll be putting on soft serve in two flavours - vanilla and whipped Mango Passion Sorbet (which is also vegan) or you can get a mix of the two.
On top of that, they'll have sundaes which include an exclusive new creation - the Float Your Boat. That's vanilla soft serve, fresh banana, palm sugar honeycomb, morello cherries whipped cream, pecans and sprinkles.
It's a busy time for the company who can also be found at Koya, with an exclusive ice cream sandwich. The Ko Kinako the've made for them features kinako milk ice cream (grounded roasted soya bean) rippled with kuromistu (black cane sugar syrup) in between brown sugar shortbread. You'll find that at the Hackney and City branches of Koya.
