Is it a sign of the times that luxury hotel Four Seasons Hotel London At Tower Bridge has decided to replace its two Michelin-starred restaurant by top chef Anne-Sophie Pic with a steakhouse? Whatever the reasoning behind the decision, Cooper's Cut will be the hotel's newest dining offering, opening this spring.

Four Seasons are billing it as a contemporary steakhouse that they hope will "bring a bold energy to The City's dining scene." To that end, they're promising the best cuts of steak from around the world, like British grass-fed and Wagyu to Galician steaks.

We get a lot of information about new openings here at Hot Dinners, so it takes a lot to impress us. So when we say that an announcement about a new central London hotel made us sit up and take notice, that's a big thing. It's been a troubled few years at The Langham, which has struggled to find a solid proposition for its main restaurant space since Roux at the Landau closed back in 2023. They did try to follow that with Mimosa from French group Moma, but that folded after a scant five months of service.

Just after Lisa Goodwin-Allen rejoined Northcote, after making a surprise departure announcement just two months prior (being sold to new owners helped with that), she also announced she was to open a new restaurant at The Beaumont, called Rosi. Now we have more details about what's planned.
