We love a good cause here at Hot Dinners and no cause is closer to our hearts than Action Against Hunger. So we're right behind an initiative from CAU Restaurants which is supporting the charity with all manner of BBQ food and fun. This is the second year the restaurant group's put on its #CAUnival festival and this year they're teaming up with barbecue top dog DJ BBQ.

Looks like London's BBQ movement is moving out of the centre of town. Meatup is a new BBQ grill spot opening in Wandsworth.

They're promising British premium aged steaks, chargrilled lobster and shellfish on the menu, along with ribs, "killer burgers" and superfood salads. The person behind it is local resident, Sachin Kanna (previously of Raffles and Libertine).

They'll be open from brunch onwards to a late night bar with live music and DJs. Drinks-wise

You may have caught DJ/'cue obsessive Seth Troxler's BBQ popup Smokey Tails when it last turned up in Hackney Wick or Haggerston. But now Troxler's restaurant is settling down with its first permanent residence, at Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen.

It's been five years in the making, but in a few week's time, BBQ spot Bukowski Grill will open their biggest restaurant to date - this one in the heart of Soho. Their 70 seat D'arblay Street spot will be their third restaurant (following Boxpark in Shoreditch and a second one in Brixton Market).
