The list of London restaurants with views is set to expand briefly over the summer as the 40th floor of the Gherkin opens up for a Moroccan-themed popup. The space, which has 360 degree views over London, is usually only open to members, so it's an opportunity to get a new perspective on the City if you haven't had a chance to wangle an invite before now.

At the level 39 restaurant there'll be a five course tasting experience, the ‘Art of Spice’ (from £59) featuring dishes such as Lamb Cannon in a 40-hour soaked Moroccan marinade, harissa prawns with cactus fruit and olives and chicken tagine with couscous. Choose from more traditional table seating, or - if you really want to get into the swing of things - Sultan Beds for four to eight people. There'll also be afternoon tea and bar snacks like handmade falafel and fried calamari with harissa mayonnaise.

As for drinks, Head Mixologist Federico Geniale has come up with a range of herb and spice inspired cocktails feauturing saffron and muscovite sugars - Bgheet Neshred, which means ‘give me a drink’ is made with orange marmalade, martini rosato, black cardamom, spices and Prosecco. and there'll also be a range of teas infused with herbs such as wild thyme and oregano.
