It was a good night for London restaurants at this year's AA Hospitality Awards 2026 with two titans of the industry being recognised in lifetime achievement awards. Adam Byatt, who's just opened Rosina in Wandsworth but has been behind Michelin-starred Trinity since 2006, walked away with the prestigious Chef's Chef of the Year gong, voted for by all the other chefs. "Winning this award is a huge honour," said Byatt, "I’m incredibly proud and grateful to have been chosen."
Byatt was joined on the stage by David Morgan-Hewitt of The Goring, London, who was there to pick up the equally prestigious AA Lifetime Achievement Award for his work. He's been with the hotel beside Buckingham Palace for a whopping 36 years.
The ceremony also revealed several new London four and three-rosette restaurants.
New 4 rosettes
- Frog by Adam Handling
- Ikoyi
- The Cocochine
New 3 Rosettes
- AngloThai (also awarded London restaurant of the year)
- Luna Omakase
- Orrery by Pierre Minotti
- Restaurant St Barts
- Tom Brown at The Capital
And, finally, there were two London hotels celebrating after last night winning the company's top accolade of five stars - The Chancery Rosewood and The Emory.
Congratulations to them all!
