If your guilty pleasure on Instagram is scrolling through endless videos of gorgeous tablescaping, then get ready to immerse yourself in the most beautiful real-world version in London this summer. Petersham Nurseries in Richmond has always been a tasteful spot for eating. But this summer they're throwing three evenings of Fireside Feasts which might just be the most beautiful suppers in the city.
"I have fond memories of summer evening suppers in our family gardens," says Petersham owner Lara Boglione, "when the air is scented with jasmine and woodsmoke from the barbecues." To help recreate that, she's brought in Italian chef Barù who'll be joining the Petersham crew in serving up a series of Italian-influenced dishes cooked over fire to the lucky Londoners who get a booking.
Guests will sit down at long tables in the private Petersham gardens for amazing seasonal vegetables and meat cooked over the fire. The £175 ticket includes plenty of Petersham's own Italian house wine, but there will also be an alfresco woodland bar serving up cocktails too. Sounds dreamy.
