We're still waiting to find out what's happening with their Mayfair opening, but in the meantime, Supernova have quietly opened their second smash burger bar, this time in South Kensington.
Announced in typically low-key fashion on their Instagram feed (first spotted by Restaurant online), they've taken over a space that once held another burger restaurant, Big Fernand. From the few photos we've seen, the new space is bigger than their original Soho location and actually has proper seating, but retains the very glossy, heavily designed feel of the original. The group also recently opened in Bahrain, so they are very much on the expansion trail.
The menu in South Kensington remains the same, so it's still just the classic cheeseburger, the house cheeseburger, fries and a sundae on offer. But if you're heading anywhere near Museum Mile, this will prove to be extremely handy.
