All’onda in Fitzrovia is all about risotto

All’onda in Fitzrovia is all about risotto

A new restaurant called All’onda is coming to Fitzrovia and it's all centred around risotto.

Founded by Cordula Schulz, whose apparent passion for risotto drives the restaurant, she's brought in Andrea Granzarolo as head chef. He brings with him a wealth of experience, having been at Helene Darroze for six years, as well as The Square and The Greenhouse.

The menu, of course, will feature a lot of risotto. So there's spring green risotto primavera, squid ink risotto, risotto alla Milanese alongside more adventurous options like risotto with sweetbread and artichoke. There will be more on offer besides those rice dishes, though, with starters including beef tartaccio, which is apparently a tartare and carpaccio crossover, and some regularly changing mains like Cornish turbot with verbena, matcha and green asparagus.

It's a smallish space, taking over what was once Navarro's, and is promising a fine dining vibe. So if you also have a love for risotto, this place should be worth keeping an eye on.
