Mistress is a Parisian-inspired restaurant and late-night bar in Mayfair

Updated 22/2/24 with menu details and photos

The Mayfair restaurant scene - particularly the high-end side of things - sees no sign of slowing down with Mistress opening in the area.

It's a lower-ground affair in James Street, taking over the space that used to be Aura. Instead of the R&B club it was before, it's going to be a Parisian-inspired restaurant and "after-hours lounge" with their food being described as "refined French cuisine for a modern Mayfair".

On the launch menu you'll find dishes like:

  • King crab with smoked tomato, avocado and puffed black rice
  • Grilled wagyu tomahawk with cafe de paris butter
  • Seabass Duglere with tomatoes, butter, dill, and samphire

They're also promising a roaming Champagne trolley too. It's aiming to stretch into the night, with funk, soul and disco music playing till late (becoming a members' bar after 11pm).
