There's a lot happening at Gaucho right now. Recently they opened a brand new restaurant in Covent Garden and now they're getting ready to relaunch their restaurant in the City of London.
The restaurant has been closed since January for the revamp, which has been redesigned taking inspiration from the restaurant's Argentine origins. As they say, the interiors have been designed to "transport you to the heart of Argentina."
It's quite a big overhaul, with this Gaucho taking up two subterranean levels (and a private dining room). Here's a look at the new Gaucho in the City.
The upper floor is dominated by an impressive mountain mural.
The lower floor has also had a dramatic transromation
The lower floor can also be divided to create a private dining room.
The new-look Gaucho will still be serving up the excellent carbon-neutral Argentine-style grass-fed steaks that the group is known for, alongside plenty of seafood and vegetarian dishes. On top of that, they'll have a bottomless brunch at the weekend, and a set lunch during the week (with two courses for £27 and three courses for £30).
And on top of all of that, if you visit on Mondays, you'll be able to bring your own bottle with free corkage.
