If you're a big BAO fan, then January is about to get very exciting. They're about to unleash fifteen brand new baos throughout the month of January. Yes - fifteen.

The Gladwin Brothers have already had hits with The Shed, Nutbourne and others - this sees them opening their latest restaurant in Soho. We head down for a look.  

It's all change on Dean Street as Rambla transforms into fine dining Californian spot SoLA. We went to see what a Soho meets the west coast of America looks like on the plate.

Ember Yard, the fourth of the Salt Yard Group’s Spanish-Italian’s restaurants, will re-open its Soho doors with a new design and new menu after a month-long refurbishment.

They already have a hidden 1940s immersive cocktail bar in a tube carriage - now Cahoots is about to grow. They're opening up two new spaces in Soho, keeping the 1940s theme - with a ground floor cafe and a hidden cocktail bar below. 

For just one month, Hovarda in Soho is bringing Istanbul's best burger to London as Akali Burger take over the lunch menu. In Istanbul, the restaurant started as a fusion diner and a boutique bakery but slowly became known for serving some of the city's finest burgers. 

Every burger comes in an 80g, 160g or 240g sizes (alas it doesn't look like the 800g size is making it over), and is topped with

Arma promises proper Middle-Eastern-inspired shawarma in Soho.

If you're working in or around Soho, then a change that's coming to Mele e Pere may be very welcome. The small upstairs section, that was primarily a bar before, is being converted into a daytime deli. 

It's inspired by owners Peter and Chris Hughes’ childhood in Milan, so will be a deli serving up sandwiches and salads with a very Italian feel. All the sandwiches are made with Bread Ahead

After a big success with the original in Covent Garden, fresh pasta bar Bancone is growing - opening a second restaurant in Soho. Expect classic pasta dishes, a new cocktail bar and more...

They have success with The Shed, Rabbit and Nutbourne and now The Gladwin Brothers are opening their fourth restaurant, Sussex, in the space that used to be Arbutus.
