• Balans is back in business

  

  Earlier this summer, it looked as though a longstanding part of Soho society was about to become another victim of the lockdown. Balans - a part of Soho since 1987, and a particular favourite of the area's LGBT community, put all of its restaurant sites on the market.

  The announcement was met with horror by its fans, many of which counted on somewhere like Balans to be open in the wee small hours post-clubbing when they most needed sustenance.
