  Fafa's is a Finnish success story having started out as a street food vendor - and now with 39 outlets across Finland and beyond. This is their first time in London, where they'll be bringing their filled pitas to Covent Garden. 

• DYCE dessert cafe aims for the millennial market on James Street

  

  If highly instagrammable desserts aren't your thing, then you'll maybe want to give new Marylebone cafe a swerve. Opened by chef Zahra Khan over the weekend - who's also responsible for the VERY pink nearby cafe Feya - this new dessert spot says it's all about offering "an aesthetically appealing vibe to be the next go-to millennial stop."

• Paddington's new mindful hotel Inhabit brings in Yeotown Kitchen to run the food side of things

  Taking up space in the new mindful hotel Inhabit in Paddington is the second branch of the wellness cafe group, run by a wellness centre based in Devon.

• Terra Terra is a new all-day Italian on Finchley Road

  This all-day Italian restaurant kicks off at 6.30am for commuters and then features an all-day menu of pasta, pizzette and more. Plus it should have an impressive cocktail list.

• BaoziInn is opening a flagship restaurant in Borough for their colourful dim sum

  Best known for their intensely coloured dim sum, as well as excellent Hunan and Sichuan streetfood-inspired dishes, BaoziInn are coming to Borough, and this one will have a cocktail bar. 

• The Sauce on Highbury Park has waffle burgers, churro bites and a LOT of sauce options on the menu

  With 14 savoury and 14 sweet sauces to choose from, this Highbury fast food spot hopes you'll keep coming back to work your way through them all.

• Maitre Choux are bringing their eclairs to Canary Wharf

  It's been 70 years since the Wiltons group has opened a new restaurant - but they're gearing up to launching something brand new in St James. Locket's will be a brand new cafe and wine bar in the old "Economist Plaza" now redeveloped and renamed Smithson Plaza.
