Back in June, it was revealed that popular Notting Hill Pizzeria was shutting its doors - with founders Edy Piro and Paolo Petrillo announcing plans to make a comeback at some point. That point has arrived and Farina are opening a brand new pizzeria on Notting Hill Gate, just up the road.
They're all about Neapolitan pizzas with 48-hour fermented dough and showcasing San Marzano tomatoes. Pizzas will be the classic margherita and others like Napoletana (tomato sauce, fior di latte mozzarella, anchovies, kalamata olives, wild capers & oregano) and Salsiccia e Friarielli (Italian sausage, Neapolitan ‘wild broccoli’, fior di latte mozzarella, parmesan & fresh basil). They'll also have rotating regional pasta dishes available as specials.
New to the menu are vegan pizzas, made of Mozzarisella (an Italian-made brand of alternative cheese).
In addition to this, they're also opening two more dark kitchens, so expect to see them delivering outside of the Notting Hill area too.
