Bloomsbury

There was more than a little surprise when the news was revealed that Honey & Co was closing on Warren Street in April after 10 years. But now we have much better news, in that it's reopening fairly close by, in Bloomsbury.

They're taking over what used to be Cigala on Lamb's

There's a lot of change afoot at Bloomsbury's Brunswick centre at the moment, we've had new openings like Tian Tian supermarket and now they're about to get a new plant-based pasta restaurant, Punk Pasta.

Anna Tobias' first solo venture Cafe Deco has been quietly building a fanbase in Bloomsbury. It was definitely time to make a visit.

There's a changing of the guard at the Kimpton Fitzroy hotel on Russell Square as hotel restaurant experts the Galvin Brothers get ready to take over the space where Neptune was.

Where there used to be seafood served up, the menu will now take inspiration from ethically sourced meat as Chris and Jeff are teaming up with Head Chef Adam Gray who was part of the launch team of The Ethical Butcher.

The hugely popular Tian Tian Market is once again expanding - and this time it's heading to Bloomsbury (in The Brunswick centre). They're taking over what was the New Look store.

The hoarding flags up a new restaurant that's coming soon serving up Xi'an cuisine, headed up by chef Guirong Wei who co-owns Xi'an Impression with her husband. She's taken over the site of Cagney's which boasted that it was one of

For his second restaurant, Andrew Wong is planning his own take on classic Chinese dishes. The city space will seat over 120, with a separate bar and private event space but we're particularly excited about the Chinese Sunday roast that's coming.

This is the fifth Macellaio RC to launch in London - which is essentially an Italian steakhouse - with a bit of offal on the side if that takes your fancy.
