The Harcourt European restaurant with Nordic influences opening in Marylebone

harcourt

Updated 24/3/16 with soft launch details

The Harcourt from Andrew Endean (from Hotel du Vin and Malmaison) will be a new European restaurant with more than a nod towards Nordic Cuisine. And that's a nod to its past in the guise of the Harcourt Arms.

In the kitchen is head chef Kimmo Makkonen, who’s pulling together an all-day dining menu “with Scandinavian elements”. Some of those include Swedish afternoon “Fika” (coffee break) and more. Much of the rest of the menu will come from an indoor barbecue and Bertha grill.

Wines will be picked by Finbar Naumann (from River Cafe and Newman Street Tavern) and the cocktails will also have a Nordic feel coming from Swedish born Tess Pettersson. As for the layout, there’s a ground floor bar for 40 and a dining room at the back of the building for 65 more, with a semi private conservatory too.

The Harcourt will be on soft launch from 1-3 April 2016 with 30% off food and opens officially on 4 April 2016 at 32 Harcourt Street, London W1H 4HX. For more, follow them on Twitter @The_Harcourt.
