Terroirs team opens new restaurnat Soif on Battersea Rise

Terroirs team announce November launch date for Soif on Battersea RiseThey've already built up a legion of fans with Terroirs and Brawn, now Ed Wilson and Oli Barker have announced an opening date for their third restaurant Soif. Their latest natural wine bar and bistro is now open on Battersea Rise.

Soif (translation ‘thirst’) will "continue the pair's ethos of opening rustic, hearty, simple and seasonal French and British food complemented by an extensive range of natural and bio-dynamic wines"

Head Chef at Soif will be Colin Westal who comes to South London from his position as head chef at Le Café Anglais with Rowley Leigh. HIs menu will change daily, with typical dishes including boudin noir, scallops with lardo di Colonnata, jugged hare, and bitter chocolate ganache with hazelnut cream. There'll be a wine list of approximately 150 bins starting at £16 with up to 18 wines available by the glass.

Soif will have 88 covers, including eight seats up at the bar and a small pavement terrace. It'll be open daily from Noon-10.30pm (last orders). at 27 Battersea Rise, London SW11 1HG. Reservations number is 020-7223 1112.
