When it first opened a year ago, Bar Boulud at the Mandarin Oriental drove London foodies – ourselves included – into a frenzy of excitement over their burgers (the charcuterie was pretty good too).

So we’re happy to announce that as part of their celebrations for the restaurant’s first birthday they’ll be offering diners a special birthday burger consisting of Moroccan spiced lamb patty with sweet pepper ragout, cucumber yoghurt and chickpea fries served up with harissa ketchup. It costs £15, but hurry – the birthday burger will only be available from 6th — 13th May 2011.
