If you want your dinner to be more immersive and have a proper soundtrack, then it looks like Ministry of Sound have just the thing for you with Last Orders. For just two nights, the dancefloor is being cleared for a special feast to celebrate the club's 35th anniversary.

They've brought in chef Brad Carter (Island), who's behind the five-course feast and who is teaming up with DJ Ralph Lawson, who's going to be providing the soundtrack for the night, which progresses through three decades of house music.

The food takes its inspiration from the cities and cultures that shaped house over the decades, so things start with a take on Chicago's deep-dish pizza, here filled with braised squid and spicy nduja. Then there's a New York-inspired lobster and prawn roll and an East Coast-inspired Cantonese-style prawn toast, while the lamb kebab (Carter is known for great kebabs) looks to Berlin. Every course will be backed by Ralph Lawson, bringing in Chicago, Balearic and UK house tracks and more besides.

Talking about the pop-up, Carter says, "We will be bringing big energy to this iconic dancefloor in the form of a specially curated menu inspired by the greatest cultural scene that shaped me and many others since 1991." Lawson added, "We set out to create a menu and soundtrack that worked in perfect harmony while celebrating 35 years of the club's history. With fond memories of coming to Ministry of Sound as a clubber myself, it's a real pleasure to return to The Box and tell that story through music."

It sounds like a great event - and apparently they have more team-ups planned for the future, so keep an eye out for them.
