Juno, coming to Olympia, is claiming to be the UK's biggest Italian restaurant

The parade of restaurants opening at Olympia is continuing with Juno. This is the latest from the Incipio Group, which also opened a trio of rooftop restaurants there: Bar Arriba, Wolves of Tokyo, and Lillie's.

While the rooftop was a pretty big endeavour, they're going even bigger with Juno. They're claiming it's "Britain's largest Italian restaurant", as they can fit in 265 people for dinner (and 500 in total, which we assume means quite a few of them would be "vertical drinking"). We're not quite sure what the next biggest Italian would be (perhaps something by Big Mamma?), but it does sound like a grand claim. 

As for what you'll get at Juno, it sounds like a classic Italian menu, and dishes that they've highlighted include a tomato and mozzarella paccheri, crab linguine "with hand-picked crab", and osso buco alla milanese with saffron risotto and gremolata. There will be tiramisu, of course, and they'll have a "Gelato Tower" which is pistachio soft-serve piled with chopped nuts and finished with extra virgin olive oil.

They're also planning a Pizza Napoletana counter where you can watch the chefs in action, but that only seats 10 people - small change in the grand scheme of the restaurant. The whole room should look impressive too, with five-metre-high ceilings and lots of the original features of the building highlighted. They'll also have a lot of live music at the weekend. 

Still, that's a LOT of space to fill, particularly with so many other new restaurants at Olympia. But if Big Mamma can keep having big success, we'll have to see if Juno can do the same.
