Olympia

It's been a while in the making, but the big revamp of Olympia is closer to getting its grand reveal. First to open is the new Pillar Hall, from ex-D&D's Des Gunewardena and his D3 Collective and there's quite a lot to it. 

The main space is Idalia, the restaurant, and it's pretty massive, seating 300 people. It's going to be a grand all-day dining room with a "garden-inspired" design that's based on a classic country house style. Big changes are afoot at Olympia. Long known as a place for huge events in Central London (it's been around for 140 years), it's now in the process of getting a £1.3bn overhaul. As with lots of these big projects, that means there will be many new bars and restaurants to come.
