Chinatown's viral mango sticky rice spot Imm-Aroy is expanding to Bloomsbury

imm aroy mango rice spot opening in bloomsbury

For almost a year now the 'hidden' Thai street food spot Imm-Aroy has been one of the worst-kept secrets in Chinatown. Tucked away at the back of the SeeWoo supermarket on Lisle Street, it serves up a viral mango sticky rice dish which also comes in a very cute mini rice bites version.

Now they're gearing up to open a second place, this time in Bloomsbury. Owner Kai revealed the news on social saying, "Nearly one year ago, we brought the authentic taste of Thai street food to the heart of Chinatown, and the love from you all has been nothing short of amazing! Because you can‘t get enough of ImmAroy, we have a massive announcement... we are opening our second location!"

If you haven't been before, obviously the sticky rice is the must-have. But the menu also features options like Thai fishcakes, sai oua and isaan sausages, and Thai-style Hainan chicken rice.

We'll bring you more news on opening dates and details soon.
