It's a couple of weeks until the World's 50 Best Restaurants unveils its list for 2025, but in advance of that, they always release the long-list of 51-100. This year sees a big demotion for London as we go from five restaurants on the list to only two. Core by Clare Smyth and Brat have dropped out, but Tomos Parry's Mountain has moved up from 94 to 74. Lyle's has also dropped out, but that's already closed.
As to what this reveals about the main list, it certainly suggests that Ikoyi and Kol are keeping their place in the top 50. We'll have to wait until 19 June before we can find out just where they place.
