Holborn office folk working from home on Friday may have missed the news in the Standard that a new spin-off restaurant of Dumplings' Legend was coming their way. But they'll need to get up to speed quickly as Love Dumplings Legend is opening its doors today.
If you're not already familiar with Dumplings' Legend, it's one of Chinatown's most popular restaurants. Every member of the Hot Dinners family is a longtime fan of their xiao long bao. Their new Chancery Lane restaurant will be an all-day place, starting with breakfast, serving up congee, steamed buns and tea eggs.
From lunchtime onwards, the dim sum menu kicks in with classic dumplings alongside new treats like spicy duck, and sea bass and fennel dumplings. They're also going tech-heavy with this, making it an easy spot to order online or by screens inside, if you want to take those dumplings back to the office for an al desko treat.
