In a blow for Peckham and Nunhead foodies, last night the pair behind all the Kudu restaurants and bars in the area - Kudu, Kudu Grill and Curious Kudu announced they're moving the business to Marylebone. Amy Corbin and husband Patrick Williams have spent the last eight years helping to contribute to South East London's amazing food scene, so their departure to the shiny streets of central London will be keenly felt.
They'll be taking over the old Aubaine restaurant site on Moxon Street, right opposite La Fromagerie in the heart of Marylebone.
In a post last night on Instagram, they explained that the move would "bring our 3 sites together under one roof, marking an exciting new chapter for our company! The site will feature brand-new dishes alongside standout favourites from both Kudu & Kudu Grill as well as a private dining room and bar area...This dream project has been in the pipeline for a few years now and we still can’t actually believe it’s happening!"
There's no news yet on when their Peckham restaurants will be closing, but we'll update this story when we know more. But it's good news for Marylebone folk who'll soon be enjoying Kudu's South African-influenced food and amazing cocktails on their doorstep before too long.
