They've only recently launched their first London sandwich shop but Sandwich Sandwich already have their next place lined up. And this time they're going big.
Recently announced on their Instagram page, they're rather confidently saying that this will be "the biggest sandwich shop in the UK" (we also feel confident that Pret are getting out the measuring tape right now).
They're sticking to the City for the second opening, opening near Fenchurch Street station with the shop planned to be 3500 sq ft (which does, to be fair, sound pretty massive to us). It'll at least help to cut down on those massive queues. As for the sandwiches themselves, expect an "if it ain't broke don't fix it approach" with recent sandwiches including:
- Sliced southern fried chicken, house coleslaw, spicy creole sauce
- Coronation chicken, roast chicken, mild curried mayo, fresh cucumber, iceberg mango chutney & mint yoghurt
- Overnight roasted sirloin of beef, red onion, tomato, cheddar & horseradish mayo
- Hoisin pulled pork, pulled pork, hoisin sauce, cucumber & spring onion
