If you're a South Ken resident wondering what was happening to the old Le Pain Quotidien site on Exhibition Road, then we bring you good news, particularly if you're a pasta lover. This is going to be the seventh restaurant opening for Lina Stores.
Their South Kensington restaurant is going to be an all-day affair, opening in the morning for espressos and breakfast dishes like truffle scrambled eggs with toasted sourdough running through to larger plates and drinks later in the day.
They're also promising new additions to the menu here including:
- Lumache with broad beans, guancial, mint & pecorino romano
- Jerusalem artichoke & ricotta tre latte agnolotti with lemon & pinenuts
- Mussels alla marinara with grilled focaccia
- Burnt caramel & marsala tart
The space is going to be large enough to have a connecting bar making it a very handy spot for drinks too with an all-Italian wine list being served up along with Italian aperitivi and cocktails. Plus, there'll be a lovely little wraparound terrace for when the weather warms up.
