Roti King are bringing their roti canai to Waterloo

In an early Christmas present for anyone living and working in Waterloo, Roti King have just announced that they'll be opening their third London restaurant there. Having started life as a street food stall, and now with restaurants in Euston and Battersea it sounds like things are definitely going well for Malaysian founder Sugen Gopal.

Key to Gopal's success has been his amazing roti canai, all of which are made fresh on site every day. Those come with four different options of kari; chicken, mutton, dahl and fish. Other dish options include beef rendang, nasi lemak, char kuey teow and kari laksa. They're also going big on plant-based dishes like their new pulled shiitake rendang.

The Waterloo restaurant on Lower Marsh is going to have room for 50 folk to dine in and will be licensed with a short beer and wine list and canned cocktails from Moth.
