There's been a new round of openings in Chinatown and it includes the first live hand-pulled noodle restaurant within the official Chinatown area (Lanzhou Lamian Noodle Bar is apparently just outside the boundary).
Kung Fu Noodle specialises in dishes from China's Gansu province in the North West of the country. On the menu, you'll find a range of hot, cold and soup noodle dishes like:
- Beef hand pulled noodles
- Shan Xi oil spill noodles
- Chickpea and minced pork noodle soup
- Sliced pork ear with chilli oil
- Cold noodles with shredded chicken
It's definitely the hand pulled noodles that are the key attraction here, with an open kitchen showcasing chefs making them in front of you.
Restaurateur Alex Xu, who also owns Taiwanese bubble tea shop Happy Lemon, is the man behind this latest addition to Chinatown.
