Earlier this summer we popped into The Hoxton hotel in Holborn to check out Chet's - their latest residency. Back then, the word was that this would be LA-based chef Kris Yenbamroong's restaurant in the upcoming Hoxton opening in Shepherd's Bush and we've now had confirmation of that.
The hotel, which opens on Shepherds Bush Green before Christmas, will have 237 rooms but it's the food and drink side of things that really interests us. So it'll be Thai-Americana restaurant Chet’s taking pride of place. There's no word yet on the menu, but we'd expect his smashburger (pictured here) to show up on it and much of the menu that you'll see in our recent Test Drive. Hopefully the garlic milk bread will be putting in an appearance - that was amazing. We're also told to expect plenty of natural wines and coriander martinis.
Like other Hoxtons there'll be a large open lobby with a central wraparound bar and terrace too.
