Summing it all up: Coming from an ex-Tamarind chef, Heritage aims to cook "nostalgic family-taught dishes and unusual foods from lesser-known Indian regions and communities".

The low-down

Heritage in Dulwich comes from Executive Chef Dayashankar Sharma, who's worked at Tamarind and Zaika, and features "nostalgic family-taught dishes and unusual foods from lesser-known Indian regions and communities".

Starting out on the delivery menu will be a series of set dining sharing boxes, each with regional breads, rices, chutneys and sides: 

  • Heritage Rajputana (£42 for two) features Mysore Bonda, Murge Makhani, Kasmiri Lamb, Masala Aloo and Dal Makhani.
  • Heritage Grill menu (£42 for two) includes Chicken Malai Tikka and Lucknowi Murgh Kebab
  • Costal Sack (£45.95) focuses on seafood with Masala Seabass, Prawn Curry and Grilled Salmon

Vegetarian versions are available too and there's also an a la carte option with kebabs, tikkas, Murgh Makhani and more. Plus, they're getting ready to welcome dine in customers for the very first time.
