• The Breakfast Club is opening its second Soho restaurant

  This is the second Soho opening for The Breakfast Club, back to where it all began (nearby in 2005. They'll be serving up all-day breakfasts, of course, and hopefully less of a queue.

  Ex Duck & Waffle chef Tom Cenci comes to Bermondsey to launch Loyal Tavern, taking over from Village East (but run by the same group). There will be seasonal menus - and cheese toasties for late-night snacks.

• HAYA in Notting Hill will serve up food inspired by Tel Aviv
