The results are in! Here are all the details about London's new Michelin stars for restaurants in the 2019 guide.

As London gears up for the Michelin star awarding ceremony on Monday, the guide has today released news of its new Bib Gourmand awards...

The World Restaurant Awards are going to take place in Paris next February.  Here, founder Joe Warwick (who also wrote the original article that spawned the World’s 50 Best Restaurants) explains how it’s going to change the international restaurant awards landscape.

Last night's AA Hospitality Awards at Grosvenor House saw a number of London chefs and restaurants given reason to party into the small hours. Those with sore heads this morning probably include teams who picked up the following gongs.

Autumn may be a season of mists and mellow fruitfulness but it's also the time of year for restaurant awards. Hardens are about to have theirs. Michelin are gearing up to announce their stars and that's followed by the Tatler Restaurant Guide coming out. But the first out of the doors is the publication of the annual Good Food Guide and, in particular, its list of the 50 best restaurants in the UK.

Looks like Michelin are trying to up the ante on how they announce their stars. Now that the World's 50 Best is a week-long affair roaming the globe and there's a new ceremony nipping at its heels in the form of the World Restaurant Awards, they've made some adjustments to the London

The results are in, and it's been a good year for Europe in general, grabbing six of the Top 10 restaurants on the World's 50 Best Restaurants list. But there could be only one winner and this year it was a return to the podium for Massimo Bottura and his Modena restaurant Osteria Francescana.

As the restaurant world prepares for next week's reveal of the World's 50 Best Restaurants list for 2018, the creators of the list have amped up the excitement by releasing in advance the second half of the list from 51 to 100. The reason you want to pay attention to this is it's a good way to work out what may be new to the list that really matters next week.

So, right now there are three UK restaurants that we know of on the 51-100 portion. Heston Blumenthal's The Fat

The National Restaurant Awards have been announced and it's very good news for Soho's Kiln. Last year it was a new entry at number nine - and now it's jumped right to the top of the list. And it's not the only restaurant Ben Chapman has in the top 100 as the new Smoking Goat in Shoreditch also makes it to number 68.

Fortnum and Mason's Diamond Jubilee salon was heaving last night with the unpasteurised cream of the food world, there to celebrate the Piccadilly's food store's sixth annual Food & Drink Awards. Hot Dinners spotted all manner of people in the fray including Mary Berry, Rick Stein, Mark Hix, Nuno Mendes, Jose Pizarro - and even Piers Morgan.

Is it awards season already? GQ kicked things off this week with their food and drink awards, with both the new - Core by Clare Smyth - and the older - Bob Bob Ricard getting recognised. And there's also deserved recognition of the Sethis who seem to have a golden touch on their restaurants (Bao, Lyles, Bubbledogs, Hoppers to name a few).

Borough Wine & Beers, who know a thing or two about hosting pop-ups, has announced that its first residency in their Kensal Rise branch will be Zijun Meng and Ana Goncalves of the Portuguese/Chinese-inspired restaurant TĀ TĀ Eatery. It’ll be a three-month residency, and form part of Borough Wine Kensal Rise's Chef Development Series.

Last night the 6th British kebab awards took place with what's rapidly becoming a legendary awards party. 2017's event - which took place on the same night as the Oscars - briefly outdid the Academy Awards for trending on Twitter. It turned out to be quite an emotional night with organiser Ibrahim Dogus declaring that; "In an otherwise darkened street, the kebab shop is the light that never goes out."
