He's had a lot of acclaim for Belly, and now Omar Shah (with his Maginhawa Group) is about to open a second restaurant in Kentish Town. 

He's launching the all-day Bunso, which will be a bakery by day and turn into a pizzeria in the evening, with both parts focusing on bringing in Filipino flavours. So during the day there will be laminated pastries, savoury bakes and coffee and in the evening freshly made pizzas alongside a concise menu of crudo, kinilaw, salads and pasta. You've got to hand it to Times restaurant critic Giles Coren. Somehow, he's managed to persuade one of his favourite London restaurants Med Salleh, to open a new restaurant right down the road from his home. If there was ever a shoo-in for a Times review it would surely be this one.
