Jason Atherton's new flagship restaurant is Row on 5 on Savile Row, which earned a Michelin star in almost record time. We went in to try it out and left thinking a second star seems all but inevitable. 

Around this time last year, Jason Atherton announced the closure of his (then) flagship restaurant Pollen Street Social. A few months later, in August, that restaurant was given a light do-over and replaced by grill restaurant Mary's.

Interesting news reaches us of a plan by Jason Atherton to open what's being described as a 'flagship restaurant' in Mayfair. The restaurateur, is very busy indeed this Autumn, but this is planned as his flagship.

Another high-profile restaurant closure has been announced, with Jason Atherton's Mayfair restaurant Pollen Street Social due to shut its doors at the end of July. The chef announced the closure on Instagram, saying "it has been a rollercoaster of a ride and wonderful journey but it’s time for us to say goodbye."
