Jason Atherton has been rumoured to be opening quite a few restaurants of late, but the chef/restaurateur still manages to surprise us when he actually announces something. First, there was the launch of Mary's, taking over from Pollen Street Social. Then Sael in St James's Market (taking over from Aquavit). Now, for his next restaurant, it's the opening of a new restaurant in Chelsea, Three Darlings.
Once again billed as a team-up between him and his wife Irha Atherton (and named after their daughters), this new restaurant will be an all-day neighbourhood bistro, opening on Pavilion Road. It's being billed as "English cuisine infused with European influences and healthy fare from around the world".
There is a Granger & Co around that area and it's possible he's taking on that space - but it's too early to tell.
As soon as we get any more information, we'll update things here.
