Flat Iron Piccadilly is opening right next door to The Devonshire

In what can only be described as a bold move, the latest Flat Iron steak restaurant is opening in Soho, right next door to its founder's new place, The Devonshire. Flat Iron Piccadilly will throw open the doors to its latest restaurant next year, putting it right beside one of London's most famous pub restaurants, which is as well known for its steak as the pub below is for its Guinness.

Charlie Carroll was the man behind the Flat Iron steak group, founding it back in 2012 before handing over the reins in 2021 and later becoming one of the core trio behind The Devonshire. The newest Flat Iron is also just around the corner from the group's first-ever permanent restaurant in Beak Street.

"It's been 13 years since opening the first Flat Iron just around the corner," says Flat Iron’s Head of Beef, Fred Smith. "This opening feels like a real full circle moment, returning home to where it all began." The Piccadilly branch will have room for 100 diners, making it a handy place to head into if you can't get a seat at The Devonshire, or fancy a much cheaper steak.
